LaBarge Weinstein is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Community Engagement and Marketing Specialist to support and drive initiatives that enhance our firm’s profile, strengthen connections within the community, and contribute to client growth. This role combines strategic thinking with creativity and execution—spanning marketing campaigns, content development, event coordination, and collaborative business development efforts.

What You'll Do:

• Develop a marketing plan for the firm and lead every stage of the plan while working closely with the Lawyers
• Create and own a yearly calendar of events for speaking engagements, client events, trade shows, conferences and industry events while managing all logistics.
• Proactively explore innovative ways to attract new clients and begin cultivating relationships with prospective clients to support long-term growth.
• Plan and develop social media and email campaigns with compelling content
• Track and highlight client successes, testimonials, and case studies (where confidentiality permits)
• Maintain a client database or CRM for marketing and business development tracking
• Monitor marketing performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Work closely with lawyers to understand practice areas and firm priorities
• Support internal communication efforts and firm-wide announcements

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

• A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills with a creative edge and an eye for engaging, brand-aligned content.
• Hands-on experience in marketing coordination, campaign delivery, events management and business development.
• Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, corporate website development and email campaign software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Ideally, an understanding of the startup ecosystem and the ability to tailor marketing efforts to align with the fast-paced, entrepreneurial nature of emerging businesses.
• A proactive, flexible mindset and a strong sense of initiative as you will be the only marketing team member.

The salary range for this position is $65,000–$75,000 CAD per year. Compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable legislation.
