Job Description:

Provide technical support on production lines through equipment calibration, board repair, and troubleshooting. Guide and train operators with on-the-job instruction, maintain process documentation, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Collaborate with Engineering, support layout changes, and participate in maintenance and improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating process documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Verify the calibration status of production equipment to maintain compliance and performance standards.
  • Coordinate the usage, maintenance, and repair of production boards to ensure operational continuity.
  • Troubleshoot complex production equipment issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Utilize available testing equipment to validate that product specifications meet required standards.
  • Deliver on-the-job technical training to less experienced operators, fostering skill development and operational consistency.
  • Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations in all work activities.
  • Prepare and submit assigned reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Quality and Quality System requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the maquiladora industry.
  • High School or Technical career preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and routers.
  • Experience in TIG welding.
  • IPC 610 and J-STD welding certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ESD.
  • Ability to operate equipment and tools.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
