The Production Technician is responsible for monitoring production lines, supporting operators, and ensuring adherence to production plans and key process indicators (KPIs). This role provides day-to-day operational support, oversees line performance, and helps drive productivity and quality in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned production area/lines on an hourly basis.
- Monitor and control scrap generated in the area/line.
- Track and control downtime.
- Monitor and control PPM indicators.
- Ensure compliance with the production plan.
- Support the line by coordinating operators and communicating operational priorities.
- Administer and support production line personnel while monitoring and controlling key process indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
- High School or Technical career preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a production environment.
- Knowledge in the use of measurement equipment.
- Ability to interpret drawings and tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Knowledge of 5S methodologies.
- Collaboration and teamwork.
- Ability to develop, motivate, and support others.
