Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Testing Analyst with hands-on experience in Tricentis TOSCA to join our SAP Team in AMETEK Bangalore office. This role will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP applications through effective testing strategies. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and manage testing solutions, ensuring seamless SAP implementations and upgrades. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for SAP S/4HANA Cloud applications, ensuring end-to-end coverage.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to understand requirements and convert them into automated test scenarios.
  • Execute end-to-end scenarios, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for SAP modules.
  • Manage the test lifecycle in qTest, covering test case design, execution tracking, defect logging, and reporting.
  • Perform performance testing with NeoLoad, analyze results, and recommend system optimizations.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions independently using TOSCA and Custom scripting.
  • Understand and utilize Python-based utilities or scripts to enhance automation and support advanced validations.
  • Apply risk-based testing to prioritize critical business processes and validate high-impact functionalities.
  • Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, execution reports, and coverage matrices aligned with QA best practices.
  • Work closely with developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to validate SAP solutions, resolve defects, and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Continuously optimize testing processes, staying updated on the latest Tricentis features, SAP testing methodologies, and performance testing trends.
  • Support integration of testing tools (TOSCA, qTest, NeoLoad) into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable execution.

Candidate Requirements:

Overall Experience:

  • 6–8 years of experience in SAP Testing, including 5 years of hands-on automation using Tricentis Tosca.
  • Strong expertise in SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, PP, etc.) and end-to-end integration testing.
  • Experience with integration testing, including knowledge of SAP BTP, APIs, IDocs, and middleware tools.
  • Solid understanding of Tosca functionalities, such as test case design, automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
  • Proficient with test management tools like qTest and JIRA.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Required Skills:

  • Certification in Tricentis Tosca and/or SAP modules (highly desirable).
  • Experience in performance testing tools and methodologies, preferably NeoLoad.
  • Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions, especially SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
  • Experience in TOSCA, including design, develop, frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience with test management tools like qTest and JIRA.
  • Basic knowledge of Python scripting for custom automation and validations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with business and technical teams.

Qualifications:

  • Technical education background: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
