About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to the execution of the data migration activities for our SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role will have a team of data migration analysts reporting to them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP data migration execution.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data scope, mapping, cleansing, and transformation rules.
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes using Syniti, other third-party tools, and the SAP data cockpit.
- Coordinate with functional leads to validate data requirements and ensure alignment with business processes.
- Oversee data quality assurance, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
- Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including data load plans, cutover strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Manage a team of data analysts and developers, ensuring timely delivery of migration milestones.
- Support mock loads, testing cycles (SIT, UAT), and go-live cutover activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP data migration, including at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, BODS).
- Proficient with the Syniti tool.
- Syniti certified.
- Proficient with loading data using the SAP data cockpit.
- Experience with legacy system data extraction and transformation.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex data migration projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven track record of delivering the data migration activities on-time and on-budget.
