Job Title: Senior Buyer (m/f/d)

Main Responsibilities:

• Show initiative in defining a need for the business, sourcing, quoting and leading negotiations in line with company demand
• Be able to influence decision making with both internal and external stakeholders
• Be the point of contact between suppliers and internal customers
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and the Purchasing Manager to understand the business requirements and help to translate into a sourcing strategy
• Lead the sourcing of fabricated and CNC components to both UK and LCC suppliers
• Resolving urgent component shortages
• Running MRP on a regular and timely basis
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost reduction targets
• Resolving all invoice queries
• Ensuring all part records are kept up to date with latest prices / volume discounts etc
• Resolving any delivery discrepancies promptly and working with suppliers to minimise future discrepancies
• Dealing with any other ad-hoc enquiries as the role requires
• Adherence at all times to the published Company Procedures
• To understand and comply with the Company`s Quality Statement
• To meet deadlines as required
• Maintain the Company Image whilst representing the Company
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others at all times

Position Requirements:

• Completed commercial or technical training (associate degree)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing
• Good written and spoken English skills, business fluent
• Good user knwoledge of MS Office products
• Confident and professional manner
