For our headquarter in Kleve we are searching for a Finance Director (m/f/d):
As Finance Director for SPECTRO you'll report directly to the Divsional Vice President/BU Controller. You’ll work closely with different internal partners to drive performance, ensure financial integrity, and support strategic growth. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape decisions and deliver results.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting team (6-7 employees)
- Prepare and submit the monthly US GAAP financials in HFM system
- Lead the entity's SOX quarterly requirements, such as account reconciliations and other key controls
- Ensure conformity with US-GAAP, local statutory requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley and Corporate policies
- Drive the organization to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
- Develop talent in the finance organization and ensure succession planning
- Prepare annual budget and monthly operational expenses forecasts
- Prepare ad hoc requests for Corporate
- Ensures timely, accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Responsible for annual statutory audit with external auditors
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. MBA / CPA a plus.
- Minimum ten years accounting or finance experience, including supervisory experience in a manufacturing or public accounting firm
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in German and English language
- Experience with German HGB and US GAAP
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
