The Role Willis Towers Watson is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Risk Consulting Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Asia Risk & Analytics team. The role will involve conducting insurable Construction and Operational risk surveys for a wide range of regional clients and providing risk & insurance advisory, risk assessment, data analytics, loss prevention and technical claims support. The role will involve managing accounts for large multinational organisations and requires a thorough knowledge of Highly Protected Risk (HPR) standards, international codes and standards, fire and life safety systems, as well as an understanding of project and construction risk management techniques. In addition, the successful candidate must bring a level of dynamism that enables the implementation of good working practices, with a strong understanding of core intent and delivery. The individual should be capable of advocating for and supporting operational change and effectiveness, contributing to the future introduction of frameworks and consistency across diverse organisational structures. Strong verbal communication and the ability to champion change effectively will be essential differentiators in this role, alongside the capacity to hit the ground running with both surveys and client work.

Relevant industry experience with a broad range of design, construction, operations or risk consulting experience to senior level within Asia
High level of Risk Engineering technical expertise in HPR, Fire and Security protection standards and techniques
Degree (or equivalent) and risk management qualifications and/or relevant accreditations
Must bring dynamism and the ability to implement good working practices with clear understanding of intent and delivery.
Comfortable travelling extensively (e.g. 80-95 days per year) within Asia
Self-starter, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively relate to individuals at all levels – from site technicians up to company CEOs
Proven ability to write detailed reports in English of a varied technical nature
Experience of carrying out construction/property risk surveys
Knowledge and experience of working with Asian, NFPA, FM and other international property conservation codes
Knowledge of NATCAT risks and mitigation standards
Multiple language skills would be a bonus
