| Key responsibilities of this role include: Lead the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks, plans and processes within the Neuron LoB. Responsible for conducting risk assessments and analysis to identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational and strategic risks. Assess risk controls and future mitigation plans to demonstrate effective management of all risks across Neuron. Drive positive and proactive risk culture across all of Neuron. Deliver risk training to Neuron colleagues, to embed risk management into daily work routines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk controls are embedded in business processes. Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs), escalating issues as appropriate, provide regular updates on a monthly and quarterly basis and summarise the outcomes with the responsibilities of individuals to better the risk. Prepare risk documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior stakeholders. Liaise with WTW’s Group Risk Teams to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide risk policies and standards. - Regularly assess the changes in the market / industry / economic / political environment and understand their impact on Neuron.
- Monitor incidents and severity assessment - assist in analysing identified breaches and work with Neuron colleagues and the wider business on corrective action plans, to avoid similar breaches that may have a financial, regulatory and/or operational risk to Neuron
Contribute to internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting as needed. Agree the corrective action to be taken including responsibility, timelines and review dates. Provide guidance and advice to relevant internal stakeholders and assist them with the interpretation and implementation of policies and framework requirements, to ensure the management of enterprise risk is as per the Governance, Risk and Compliance Group policies, controls and standards. - Support continuous improvement initiatives related to risk and operational resilience.
- Manage the Neuron decision log, for those decisions which require a formal document of record.
- Support the integrity and relevance of operational policy, process and procedural documentation.
- Understand the customer experience, identifying and suggesting ways to continuously improve service.
