The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Periodically review of the tasks carried out by the external accounting team.

• Perform day-to-day accounting and analytical tasks, including journal entries analysis, reconciliations and ledger maintenance.

• Analysis of variations and explanation of deviations. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Responsible for data reconciliation between the main ERP system (Oracle) and satellite management systems, leveraging cross-system validations on high-volume databases to ensure financial and operational data integrity and consistency.

• Prepare the Non-Financial Information Statement (NFIS - EINF) and financial statements in accordance with local GAAPs.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary, accurate and reliable documentation and information.

• Direct relationship with the external auditors, with whom this role will be a key interlocutor within WTW.

• Collaborate developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.

• Preparation and analysis of quality and reliable information for Boards of Directors and other interested third parties.

We are looking for a highly qualified accounting professional with proven experience, strong autonomy, and a high sense of responsibility, capable of managing complex tasks and acting as a key interlocutor in financial processes to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance in all the entities WTW has in Spain. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as being proactive, analytical and problem-solving skills, since you will have to interact with an external team in charge of the accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with proved experience in Finance or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.

• Good knowledge of local GAAPs and US GAAPs.

• Advanced level in English.

• Proficient in MS-Excel and Database.

• Proficiency in accounting software – Oracle is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
