The role

This role is part of a broader initiative within the Individual Marketplace (IM) team at WTW. You will be working with team which is focused on leveraging AI and ML technologies to improve operational efficiency, streamline tooling, and enhance customer engagement.

Your role will involve:

• Developing and optimizing deep learning models to improve our operational efficiency
• Designing and implementing neural-network architectures
• Processing and visualizing complex data to draw out actionable insights
• Enhancing natural language processing capabilities to streamline communication and automation
• Deploying AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with our existing systems and workflows
• Ensuring AI security and compliance with industry standards
• Building and maintaining robust data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers and business stakeholders

The requirements

To start building your future career with us, you will need:

• More than 80% marks in 10th and 12th
• A Bachelor of Statistics and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science, with AI/ML specializations or A Bachelor of Statistics and Master of Statistics with focus on with AI/ML specializations or A Bachelor and Master of Statistics and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science, with AI/ML specializations
• A minimum of 85% marks in all semesters of Bachelor's and Master’s
• The ability to incorporate AI models from the initial idea through to execution
• To understand the mathematical principles that underpin AI algorithms and theories
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn and LangChain
• A solid understanding of generative AI and large language models
• Good knowledge in selecting, enhancing and deploying deep learning models
• Knowledge of neural network architectures, data processing and visualization
• To be adept in natural language processing and AI security

Ideally, you will also have hands-on experience through academic projects or internships in AI/ML on a project such as:

• Deep learning-based image classification
• Chatbots that use transformer-based models
• Automating customer support using NLP techniques
• Optimizing supply chain operations using predictive analytics

Please note that a maximum gap of one year is permissible after HSC (12th) and not after SSC (10th) or in between semesters of graduation.
