Sales Consultant – Health and Benefits
Job Description
In this role you will expand WTW’s Health & Benefits presence in the East Coast market and build on recent success in growing our market share by meeting or exceeding sales targets .The role requires an experienced Sales Professional who is familiar with the East Coast Health & Benefits market and has extensive experience in Group Risk Insurance and/or Private Health Insurance or both.
The Role
- Develop and execute a sales plan for Health & Benefits across East Coast that will meet new business targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and other key stakeholders, professionally representing WTW.
- Develop internal relationships with General Insurance Brokers in the Sydney or Melbourne offices with a view to integrating Health & Benefits solutions to existing clients and potential clients via Requests for Proposals.
- Develop internal relationships with the Senior Leaders of the Property & Casualty business on the Eastern seaboard, Head of Sales - Health & Benefits, Managing Director - Health & Benefits, and other members of the Health & Benefits team.
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Industry related qualifications and a relevant business degree are desirable.
- Proficient in sales, driving sales initiatives and identifying and closing out opportunities.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work as the sole Health & Benefits Consultant in the State.
- Knowledge of a successful sales process is critical, as well as Group Risk and Group Medical would be highly regarded.
- Proven sales and service experience in the Health & Benefits or related market.
- A strong network and understanding of the financial/benefits market
- Tier 1 qualification
