Client Servicing Officer

The Role

• Act as an intermediary between the clients-prospects and insurance carriers.
• Listen and understand to the clients’ needs and find appropriate insurance solutions on the markets.
• Assist in the negotiation and implementation of insurance policies all whilst giving support and providing advice to the clients-prospects in relation to such insurance policies during the length of its contract.
• Obtain the necessary information, assist in responding to technical queries, and prepare quotes and summaries for clients.
• Request quotes on behalf of clients-prospects, negotiate to obtain the best terms, conditions, prepare placing slips and other documentation, etc.
• Ensure efficient follow up with clients-prospects and insurers as and when needed.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Claims, Risk, Compliance and Finance) for the overall management of assigned portfolio.
• Processing and filing of documents on the internal management information systems
• Build strong relationships with clients both internal and external, collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
• Adhere to the company’s compliance policies and procedures

The Requirements

• Degree in Management, Economics, Finance or related field, or professional insurance qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in General Insurance (insurer or broker)
• Knowledge of insurance underwriting and placement practices and the ability to provide appropriate product coverage options
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software
