What will you do?
As the Team Leader of Administrative Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the administrative functions within the organization. This includes strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the effective execution of insurance and HR operations.
Your key responsibility will be to serve as a key liaison between the administrative team, senior management, insurers, and clients, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
You’ll be managing your team of administrative officers and perform the following tasks:
- Supervision and leadership:
- Oversee and lead a team specializing in Insurance and HR Operations
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Conduct training sessions for the administrative team to enhance their skills and keep them abreast of industry trends.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
- Insurance and HR oversight:
- Manage and review the insurance contract validations and other insurance-related tasks.
- Ensure the HR extranet is effectively managed, with updated and user-friendly documents.
- Oversee the coordination of data transfers and respond to complex HR-related inquiries.
- Process optimization:
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement in insurance operations and HR administration.
- Streamline workflows, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Performance metrics:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management regarding administrative operations.
- Collaborate with insurers, clients, and internal departments to maintain effective communication channels.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of administrative operations.
- Analyze data and prepare reports for senior management on a regular basis.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in insurance or banking sector
- You are proactive and able to work in a complex environment while being resilient to stress.
- You have a proven experience in a team leader role overseeing administrative teams.
- You have excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. You appreciate teamwork.
- You have a strong analytical skill to assess performance metrics and drive process optimization.
- Fluency in French and English required.
