The Role
Business Support Assistant-Client Service & Delivery
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our team at Willis Towers Watson (Mauritius) Ltd. The primary role is to assist the Account Executive in the day-to-day client service on Corporate Insurances including FINEX placement. Ability to respond to client and partners demands in a timely manner and keeping them informed on progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process documents on the system within the set KPIs
- Maintain accurate and organised records of insurance-related activities
- Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools.
- Provide comprehensive support to Account Executive in managing client accounts and policy placements, including mid-year adjustments and addressing client coverage concerns.
- Assist in reviewing each client’s risk management and insurance objectives to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurers to maintain client retention and support new business opportunities.
- Promote the WTW brand within the insurance industry and among clients, prospects, and other professional networks.
- Ensure the timely and accurate production and processing of quotes, reports, invoices, premium adjustments, and calculations, meeting and exceeding set KPIs.
- Proactively keep Account Executive informed on the status of tasks, ensuring they are always up to date.
- Assist the team with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Ensure adherence to Group Policies and Procedures
- Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches
- Assist with other special projects on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in a related field like business, finance, risk management or accounting
- Be proactive, flexible and demonstrate a keen willingness to assist colleagues
- Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in an environment that is always changing
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English & French
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance administration, client support, or a related role can be advantageous
- Ability to analyse financial information and assess risks is essential
- Clear and concise communication is needed to interact with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders
