Role Overview

The Senior Retention & Engagement Analytics Analyst plays a central role in shaping data-driven strategies that improve retention, reduce churn, and enhance engagement across LATAM. This role blends analytical depth with strong cross-functional collaboration, supporting lifecycle marketing, CRM, product, and leadership teams.

You will uncover actionable insights, guide testing frameworks, support predictive modeling, and ensure CRM communications and lifecycle programs are optimized for performance. You will work closely not only across LATAM but also with regional teams in EMEA, APAC, and North America to align on global frameworks, compare benchmarks, and share best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Insights, Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze customer behavior across the lifecycle to identify churn drivers, engagement opportunities, and growth potential.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking churn, retention, engagement, and CRM performance.
  • Translate data into clear narratives and strategic recommendations for marketing, product, and senior leadership.
  • Provide insights for quarterly and annual forecasting cycles, supporting churn assumptions and budget planning.

Churn Forecasting & Budget Impact

  • Support the development and refinement of churn forecasting models for the LATAM region.
  • Provide analytical inputs to help finance and leadership teams understand how retention strategies influence budget, revenue, and subscriber projections.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to validate forecast accuracy and refine key retention assumptions.

Experimentation & Segmentation

  • Design, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests to improve CRM channel performance.
  • Develop and support automated and dynamic segmentation for lifecycle journeys and personalized experiences.
  • Collaborate with global data science teams on predictive models (e.g., churn risk, upsell propensity, winback scoring).

MarTech & Data Infrastructure

  • Work with MarTech, CRM Ops, and data engineering to ensure accurate and consistent data flows across Braze, mParticle, Amplitude, Looker, and related platforms.
  • Support data layer improvements, schema updates, and analytics-driven enhancements to CRM tooling.
  • Contribute to system migrations, dashboard consolidation, and regional rollout of new analytics capabilities.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

  • Partner with other analytics teams across EMEA, APAC, and North America to:
    • Align on experimentation frameworks
    • Share best practices and cross-market insights
    • Benchmark LATAM performance vs. other regions
    • Coordinate global reporting or modeling initiatives
  • Represent LATAM analytics in global meetings, steering groups, and project launches.

Regional & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with LATAM CRM, content, product, marketing, and finance teams to contextualize performance trends.
  • Provide insights that reflect unique cultural and behavioral dynamics across the region.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with global retention frameworks and lifecycle plans.

Key Metrics You Will Influence

  • Monthly and quarterly churn/retention performance
  • Churn and retention forecasting accuracy
  • CRM campaign effectiveness (open rate, CTR, conversion)
  • Engagement across lifecycle stages
  • Subscriber LTV and revenue impact from retention strategies
  • Adoption and accuracy of predictive segmentation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, retention, lifecycle, or marketing analytics, ideally within a subscription or digital business.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data manipulation, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and analytics platforms such as Braze, Amplitude, Looker, mParticle, or similar.
  • Understanding of churn forecasting, retention modeling, and financial impact of retention strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and inform senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multicultural environments across multiple LATAM markets.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
