Your New Role

Warner Bros. Theatrical Distribution seeks a Sales Associate to join the domestic sales team. This role is responsible for licensing activities for their assigned exhibitor partners with theatre owners and film buyers. Key responsibilities include film licensing, settlements, market analysis, and trend reporting. The position will also support Vice President and Senior Vice President executives.

Your Role Responsibilities

  • Film Licensing – Secure product placements and weekly holdovers to maximize box office performance across multiple content formats and engagement lengths. Enter new engagements, holdovers, terminations, and promotional screenings into the WB system (MACCS).

  • Content Management – Coordinate with content delivery vendors (e.g., Deluxe) to ensure timely delivery of content and keys.

  • Film Rental Negotiation – Negotiate rental terms with theatre owners/buyers and enforce advance/guarantee policies (where permitted by law) to mitigate risk and optimize profitability.

  • Collections Support – Partner with Accounts Receivable to resolve collection issues and ensure timely payments from exhibitor accounts.

  • Marketing - Ensure marketing initiatives are clearly communicated and executed to assigned independent circuits.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration – Provide relevant updates on exhibitor changes (ownership, upgrades, loyalty programs, etc.) to internal teams.

  • Database Management – Maintain accurate exhibitor theatre details and contact information in internal systems.

  • Special Projects – Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in the entertainment industry and sales

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related discipline

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with web-based platforms (e.g., blogs, social media)

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through on assignments

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,006.00 - $78,010.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
