Overview of the internships
We have multiple Marketing and Social Media internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for multiple internship opportunities within this general area. These internships will be located in the LA area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.

Your Role Accountabilities
Duties could include:
Assist marketing team with administrative tasks, strategy development, and creative development for original series across Max, Magnolia, and discovery+ titles.
Assist team in developing briefs to inform the overall campaign architecture
Work closely with social teams to develop social campaign strategies
Help manage campaign schedules to ensure timely deliverables
Write script and/or screening coverage
Assist with taking, compiling, and distributing creative notes
Contribute creative feedback on development and finishing of creative assets
Help build decks to brief agencies and teams
Help track location and distribution of creative assets
Work closely with social teams to execute social campaigns
Review lists of influencers from our social agencies to attend premieres and influencer trips
Review mailer contents
Assist with premiere planning logistics, on the ground support at events if needed
Social media campaign comparison reporting
Social channel community management if needed
Brainstorm on marketing campaigns and many other projects
Qualifications & Experience
Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
Understanding of the social media landscape, firm grasp on basic Microsoft Office suite, enthusiasm, organization, creativity
Working knowledge of Google suite applications, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
Knowledge and experience with social media including TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories, X, YouTube and YouTube Shorts
Have a pulse on the latest social media trends and creators
We are looking for diverse, creative and driven candidates who want to learn more about digital film -marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong MS Office and Google G-Suite tools, in particular Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Comfortable with numbers and media math
Proactive and self-motivated individual
Experience in advertising, marketing and/or media preferred
Experience related to entertainment industry (theatrical/streaming) preferred
Some experience in social media, campaign measurement a plus
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.
What to know before applying:
The duration of the program is 12 weeks
Program dates:
Start Date: January 26th
End Date: April 17th
Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from early November through early-January. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

Although you will be hired by Warner Bros. Discovery, upon the planned separation in 2026, your employment likely will transition to Warner Bros. Company or transition to Discovery Global. In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns.
