Your New Role
The Manager, Finance Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) will play a key role in supporting global marketing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the DTC business unit. This position involves coordinating and analyzing the global marketing long-range plan, monthly forecasts, financial reporting, and assisting with personnel forecasts and ongoing analysis. Additionally, the role is responsible for managing the monthly forecasting process for PR.
The Manager will collaborate with various Finance teams to execute key initiatives across the company, providing valuable analysis and insights. This includes preparing ad-hoc presentations and reports for leadership on global marketing, headcount, personnel, and related strategic initiatives. As a key partner to executive Finance and operational leadership, the Manager will produce detailed analysis to inform decision-making, including Global Marketing KPIs and business drivers across regions.
In this role, the Manager will also supervise the Center of Excellence support staff, setting goals, providing direction, and supporting career development plans.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Support the annual US marketing budgets and long-range-plan across all marketing functions. Work closely with other Finance teams to present a Global consolidated view
- Integrate the monthly US Marketing forecast across all marketing functions and partner with regional Finance teams to present a consolidated Global marketing view. Review and analyze results. Assist corporate finance with any requests
- Partner with International Finance to prepare and present monthly deliverables including KPI’s decks, and fact sheets. Review and validate the information in consolidated reports and financial statements. Use key business insight to assess accuracy and validity of marketing data. Support corporate Finance in obtaining necessary analysis and supporting detail schedules to support reporting
- Manage PR monthly forecast, monthly close, annual budgets, and serve as business partner in all financial matters
- Prepare timely, high-quality, Global marketing executive leadership reporting and ad hoc analysis to enable decision making for marketing and finance. Develop models and financial analysis across marketing functions and regions including in support of company-wide initiatives
- Support the marketing personnel Director as needed in the preparation of the monthly personnel forecast, ad-hoc requests and reporting for leadership on global marketing headcount, personnel expense, and related strategic initiatives
- Supervise the Center of Excellence support staff, setting goals, providing direction, supporting, and assisting in career development plans
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of progressive Finance experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a role with demonstrated leadership (led/participated in major projects/teams, provided guidance to other staff)
- Financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting experience required
- Consolidated management reporting and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and make high-level recommendations to senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and work in a fast-paced, project/deadline-driven environment
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prior experience with standard financial applications (Hyperion, SAP, Essbase or related) preferred
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to apply to influence and drive decision making
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and constituents that span multiple geographies globally
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; a confident communicator able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with a high degree of professionalism
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Quantitative analysis skills
- Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division.
- Good problem resolution skills, strong organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage / develop staff
- Strong diligence / experience working with high volume of data preferred.
- Work well under time constraints
- Must be able to develop and implement projects
- Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division
- Knowledge and passion for Media/Entertainment industry a plus

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $95,200.00 - $176,800.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
