Meet Our Team:

We are part of Core Streaming products group for Direct-2-Consumer business and responsible for building and maintaining video streaming Mobile & OTT applications for Discovery Plus platform. Our front-end teams build user experience for search, catalogue, video streaming, personalization, subscriptions, payments and much more.

The Content Systems Engineering (MSC) team builds applications and services that power Warner Bros. Discovery’s content supply chain, supporting the entire media lifecycle—from idea to distribution. Our solutions enable thousands of internal users to seamlessly produce and distribute content across platforms, including Discovery+.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be part of a 24/7 Production Support team for a Media Supply Chain systems portfolio of on-prem and AWS applications and services •
  • Resolve production application and content related issues
  • Work closely with the Global Content Operations and engineering teams to understand business processes, technical design, integration points, share knowledge, and contribute to technical discussions
  • Collaborate with peers, share knowledge, investigate production issues and identify root causes
  • Documents new workarounds
  • Follow Support Team processes, standards, best practices and suggest processes improvements
  • Consistently deliver results, with quality, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Suggest observability enhancements for proactive and predictable operations

What to Bring

  • 5-8 years of experience in technology operations including on-call support and remote troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience in media supply chain distribution workflows, media file formats, media encoding and inventory systems
  • Strong knowledge of REST API applications hosted on AWS
  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries and specifically advanced SELECT/JOIN syntax
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and log aggregation tools
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to identify the root cause of an operational issue and suggest creative solutions
  • Excellent customer focus and awareness of the importance of the customer in a service organization as well as ability to interact professionally with business users and development teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote peers across disparate geographies and time zones
  • Work off-hours occasionally, sometimes on short notice
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred
