Your New Role
We’re on a mission to build the world’s greatest streaming service, “Max | The One to Watch”. To accomplish this, we need exceptional technology professionals across engineering, product, and data. As a Technology Sourcer at WBD, you will be at the forefront of our talent acquisition strategy, identifying and engaging with talent ranging from Software Development Engineers, Product Specialist to IT Professionals.
Your primary goal is to ensure we attract and hire the best minds in the industry to drive WBD’s success.
This role requires a candidate who is not only adept at sourcing strategies but also excels in collaborating with recruiters, partnering with hiring managers, and working closely with HR to drive successful talent acquisition initiatives.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Continuous Learning: In an ever-changing media landscape with shifting priorities, you need to understand our business, where we are coming from, where we are going, what we are building, how we’re using the different technologies, and what differentiates a strong technologist at WBD.
- Strategic Talent Mapping: Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to understand team goals and develop a proactive sourcing strategy to identify top software engineering talents.
- Candidate Engagement: Compelling storytelling and nurturing relationships with potential candidates through various channels, including social media, networking events, and online communities.
- Innovative Sourcing Techniques: Utilize advanced sourcing tools, platforms, and techniques to discover and connect with passive candidates.
- Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends and market intelligence to provide valuable insights on talent availability, competitive landscape, and recruiting best practices.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and personalized candidate experience from initial contact through the entire recruitment process.
- Data Driven: Possess a deep understanding of how to collect, maintain, and refine data and how to tell a story around the results.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6 - 10 years of experience as a Technology Sourcer in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of technology roles, skills, and industry trends.
- Proven experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, and various sourcing tools and techniques to identify top talent.
- Strong experience in candidate relationship management tools and applicant tracking systems is a must. (Here at WBD, we use Phenom for our CRM and Workday for our ATS).
- Experience in attracting and hiring a wide variety of exceptional technology candidates ranging from Software Development Engineers, Product Specialist to IT Professionals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex sourcing[GJ1] strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
