The Specialist, Content Readiness within Global Content Operations plays a critical role in supporting the Licensing department’s objectives, with a strong focus on content readiness and inventory management. This position is responsible for identifying correct content assets and source materials across multiple asset management systems, reporting availability and timelines to key stakeholders, and coordinating conformance processes to ensure alignment with the appropriate video versions.
The Specialist will also oversee delivery timelines, provide regular updates, and drive operational efficiency by enhancing our inventory with content that is ready to deliver.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify correct content assets and source materials from multiple asset management systems.
Report content availability and timelines to key stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery readiness.
Coordinate and manage timelines for conformance jobs to ensure accurate versioning.
Oversee inventory preparation and retrieve content from various global contacts.
Monitor timelines and generate regular reports on content readiness and availability.
Collaborate with internal teams to manage the asset conformance process.
Develop and implement best practices, reporting frameworks, and process improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
Analyze data using SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, and SmartSheet.
Gather and manage data input from relevant teams to support readiness initiatives.
Conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous process improvements based on data-driven insights.
Build deep expertise in asset creation processes, timelines, and workflows.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams through clear and effective communication.
Engage with stakeholders across diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise.
Adapt to changing goals and priorities while maintaining consistency and efficiency.
Analyze complex data sets to extract insights that support business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within media operations, content distribution, or the entertainment industry.
Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, SmartSheet, Domo, and Tableau.
Solid understanding of relational databases and data systems operations.
Experience with asset management systems, localization workflows, or media operations.
Familiarity with metadata standards, file formats, and content servicing workflows.
Understanding of licensing operations, FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV), and SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) services.
Awareness of trends and emerging technologies in content delivery and asset management.
Experience working with vendors on subtitling, dubbing, and mastering processes.
