Your new role...
As Digital Specialist, you will be central in the work to continue the success and further raise the focus on Max in Norway, by realizing ambitious targets for AdLite subscription growth and revenue through all our commercial partners. This role will be of high strategic importance to prepare the market for the future of TV advertising.
Furthermore, as a Key Account Manager (KAM) within Warner Bros. Discovery’s Sales Department, you will play a key role in driving the success of our advertising and sponsorship portfolio across all platforms. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a significant portfolio of existing clients while proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
To excel in this role, you should have an established network within media agencies and clients, enabling you to operate both independently and collaboratively. You should be an energetic, charismatic communicator who can captivate a room when presenting our digital story. With a deep understanding of the digital local market, you will bridge the gap between strategy and execution, translating insights to both the Ad Sales team and clients.
Your role accountabilities...
Be a key driver for reaching local digital ad sales through the sales department
Responsible for the digital ad sales strategy including pricing
Responsible for the local digital ad sales budget
Always updated on inventory, SOR, budgets etc.
Continuously keep contact with the market and agencies
Serve as the primary contact for key clients, media agencies, and advertising agencies, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
Identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities within complex customer structures, staying ahead of industry trends.
Act as a key support to the Sales Director, serving as a professional role model and contributing to the development of the sales team.
Utilize analytical tools such as Advantege, Power BI, and other relevant systems to drive data-informed sales strategies.
Collaborate with teams across Digital, Brandcare, Sponsorship, Research, and Traffic to ensure a cohesive client management approach.
Represent WBD at evening and weekend client events, strengthening business relationships and fostering engagement.
Qualification & Experience...
Education: Higher education degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing or extensive relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience: Digital sales experience within the media industry, particularly in the B2B segment.
Analytical Skills: Good numerical and analytical abilities, with an understanding of macro and microeconomic trends and their impact on the business.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective client and internal collaboration.
Personal Attributes: You are a curious, structured and comfortable with public speaking. You are an outgoing and highly motivated individual with an energetic attitude. You are a team player and motivated by team success.
You are a proactive and curious individual with deep knowledge of the BVOD-market and a good understanding of programmatic advertising. You excel in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and innovation, and thrive in high-paced environments while being engaging and structured.
