Your New Role...
Coordinates the administration for all Business Affairs’ transactions, includes tracking and highlighting status of key transactions and deal points, coordinating with other departments to facilitate deal administration, and conducting research and analyses relating to talent compensation programs.
Your role accountabilities...
- Monitor and manage status of all key transactions and deals by gathering and disseminating updates from the Business Affairs team.
- Highlight project delays/process bottlenecks and collaborate with team to resolve.
- Solicit input and feedback from stakeholder business groups.
- Review and provide substantive drafting changes and suggestions for business terms on contracts.
- Prepares internal deal-related correspondence to help employees and leadership better understand the information and obligations in a contract.
- Request draft agreements from Legal.
- Summarize key deal points for internal signed agreement memos.
- Administer the trafficking of contracts between Business Affairs, Legal, stakeholder business groups, inter-company partners, and third parties.
- Record and manage databases relating to transaction and deal progress as well as rights and financial obligations for key contracts; prepare monthly reports and make presentations at meetings.
- Perform research and help administer talent compensation programs and contractual compliance related to use of certain IP.
- Prepare documents, including letters, presentations, and spreadsheets, to facilitate approval and completion of transactions.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to VP, Business Affairs and basic support for team.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience...
Work Experience
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience in a legal or business affairs environment preferred.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to details.
- Must have the ability to organize, work well under time constraints, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and project elements simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Knowledge of publishing/comic book industry preferred.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
