Your New Role…

The Compliance Manager will drive quarterly compliance sales plans across all independent channels for Commercial Sport, including TNT Sports commercial customers, keeping piracy at bay and ensuring customer retention.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Plan, execute and deliver up to 30,000 compliance visits in a commercial football season using 3rd party independent suppliers.

  • Manage the end-to-end process from compliance visit either to conversion of sale, successful cease and desist, or through a litigation process

  • Responsible for partnership contracts and associated renewals.

  • Set, own, manage & deliver commercial compliance target and budget.

  • Own the promotion and marketing of legal wins.

  • Management of data function to ensure compliance channels are operating at full capacity.

  • Manage external and partner channels e.g., Cosine, Serve legal, lawyers CMS etc.

  • Includes third party field sales channel & support squad function.

  • Maintain stakeholder relationships from a compliance / piracy perspective (Premier League, UEFA).

  • Support & drive internal changes/processes for increased commercial opportunity within compliance.

  • Manage process changes including legal, resourcing plan, enablement, comms & incentives.

  • Manage offshore/onshore data compliance resource.

This position is offered on a fixed term maternity cover contract to start as soon as possible. Contract length is TBC but is anticipated to be a minimum of 9 months.

Qualifications and Experience…

  • Commercial compliance experience with detailed knowledge of the piracy market

  • Sound understanding of intellectual property law, with a law degree being preferable.

  • Extensive experience to budget / forecast / plan and execute complex litigation processes within multiple jurisdictions.

  • Track record in successfully delivering sales results and litigation outcomes.

  • Ability to develop and implement quarterly sales plans and support functions

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
