Revue des systèmes linéaires, théorème d'échantillonnage et analyse de Fourier. Analyse des méthodes de modulation linéaire en l'absence de bruit: bandes latérales uniques, doubles, résiduelles, en quadrature de phase et modulations AM avec porteuse. Récepteurs superhétérodynes. Modulation angulaire de phase et de fréquence. Règle de Carson. Démodulation de fréquence par discriminateur et circuit de verrouillage de phase. Techniques de base en modulation numérique: ASK, PSK, FSK. Largeur de bande requise pour PAM (critère de Nyquist). Modulation par impulsions et codage, compression-extension. Introduction au contrôle d'erreur par codage et à la théorie de l'information.

Requirements:

• Excellente connaissance du contenu du cours, démontrée par l'enseignement de cours similaires, ou par expérience d'emploi pertinente. Les candidats doivent être licenciés en tant qu'ingénieur professionnel. Postulants réguliers doivent avoir obtenu un doctorat et il devrait être obtenu dans un domaine pertinent à la matière du cours, particulièrement quand le cours soit plus spécialisé (ou expérience du travail dans un domaine relié après avoir obtenu leur doctorat).

• Veuillez noter que ce cours sera dispensé par le mode d’enseignement EN PRÉSENTIEL.
• Il est exigé que le professeur à temps partiel qui enseigne ce cours assiste aux tutoriels, au moins une heure par semaine (en moyenne). En contrepartie, ce contrat inclut un paiement de 52 heures (au lieu des 39 heures habituelles).
