Étude du métabolisme et de la physiologie de l'exercice. Stratégies nutritionnelles (alimentation et hydratation avant, pendant et après un entraînement ou la compétition) pour améliorer la performance du sportif en fonction de son âge et de ses besoins spéciaux (végétarisme et maladies chroniques). Sensibilisation aux déficiences nutritionnelles et désordres alimentaires associés à la pratique de l'exercice de haut niveau. Vue d'ensemble des principaux suppléments destinés aux sportifs.

Requirements:

Exigences requises: Maîtrise en sciences de la nutrition ou équivalent*. Expérience dans le domaine du cours. Adhésion à l'Ordre professionnel des diététistes de l'Ontario d’une autre province canadienne ou éligible à le devenir.

* Si le diplôme est dans un domaine équivalent, la personne candidate doit préciser dans son CV en quoi sa formation académique est liée aux sciences de la nutrition.
Mode d'enseignement: En personne - Campus Lees / Type « B » : cours avec travaux ou examens qui ne peuvent être corrigés par ordinateur.
