Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Requirements: Completed Honours Bachelor in Food Sciences, Nutrition, or related field*. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in both French and English is considered an asset.

* If the degree is in a related field, the candidate must clearly explain in their résumé how their academic background connects to food science or nutrition.

Nature of the work: Review program documents for accuracy and quality. Organization and support of research related events (invitations, info gathering, etc.) Assist with student poster preparation. Promote and take part in Master's program events.

Delivery Mode: In person Campus Lees or RGN. The supervisor will provide detailed information regarding the schedule and workload.
