Plusieurs thèmes seront traités parmi lesquels: le changement climatique, la sécurité alimentaire, la guerre, le VIH/SIDA, les droits de la personne, la pauvreté, l'inégalité des sexes.

Enseignement de niveau universitaire
La priorité sera accordée aux candidats ayant une formation et une expérience démontrée dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : la santé globale, la santé de la population, les inégalités de santé, Approche basée sur les droits de la personne, le rôle des organisations internationales de santé.
