Doit avoir un diplôme de maîtrise (préférablement un doctorat) en comptabilité ou un MBA. Doit également détenir le titre professionnel de CPA canadien. Doit démontrer une expérience professionnelle récente en information financière acquise dans le cadre de l’application des normes IFRS, soit lors d’audits de sociétés publiques ou cotées en bourse, soit en ayant occupé un poste de comptable au sein d'une société publique. Doit avoir une expérience récente en enseignement de l'information financière.
