AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Support the delivery of the Teaching, Immersion & English Refinement (TIER) Program for professors from the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB), delivered at the University of Ottawa's Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI). The teaching assistant will facilitate afternoon interactive language lab sessions designed to provide participants with an engaging space to practice English in authentic, real-world contexts. Through guided discussions, field-relevant simulations, and informal conversations, the TA will help participants build spoken fluency and confidence in English in a collaborative and supportive setting. The role requires close collaboration with the EMI instructor and language instructor to ensure alignment with the broader program objectives. Responsibilities include preparing and facilitating lab sessions, supporting participants' language development, and providing constructive feedback.
Course dates: June 22- July 17, 2026
Course Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 2:30pm - 4:00pm
Comments: This course is offered exclusively on the University of Ottawa campus and requires in-person instruction.
