Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature du travail :

Une combinaison de tâches telle que : recevoir les questions et commentaires des étudiants autochtones du microprogramme (MP); répondre aux questions/commentaires et soutenir ces personnes dans leurs rapports avec les divers services de l'université; support aux travaux, assister aux rencontres hebdomadaires entre ces personnes et la professeure responsable du MP si nécessaire; documenter les préoccupations étudiantes; identifier les lacunes des services universitaires et proposer des ajustements; promotion du microprogramme sur les réseaux sociaux; élaboration du matériel de promotion; et recherche de tribunes ou événements où présenter le microprogramme.

L’École s’attend à ce que toutes les personnes assistantes soient disponibles pour se déplacer physiquement sur le campus afin de réussir à accomplir toutes leurs tâches si la situation le nécessite. Tous les cours du microprogramme sont en virtuel.

Exigences requises :

Être titulaire d’un baccalauréat en sciences sociales ou l’équivalent. Capacité de travailler de façon autonome. Combinaison d’expériences et connaissances pertinentes au cours. Expérience d’enseignement, de tutorat ou de formation, un atout. Connaissances et expériences liées aux processus de développement de lois autochtones relatives aux enfants, aux jeunes et aux familles des Premières Nations, des Inuits et des Métis. Excellente connaissance pratique des organismes, réalités, programmes et interventions autochtones.

La priorité sera donnée aux personnes candidates conformément aux articles 18.5 et 18.6.

Présence au cours:

Certaines personnes professeures s’attendent à ce que leurs personnes assistantes assistent au cours. Il est donc important de vérifier l’horaire des cours pour lesquels vous désirez postuler afin d’éviter un conflit d’horaire.
