Étude des identités culturelles, valeurs traditionnelles et comportements fondés sur la culture des personnes autochtones, ainsi que des effets du colonialisme et de l’impérialisme liées aux politiques et pratiques sociales, notamment du travail social. Exploration et analyse de compétences et approches spécifiques aux relations d’aide traditionnelles et actuelles selon une vision du monde autochtone.

Requirements:

Maîtrise ou doctorat en travail social ou dans une discipline connexe, ou diplôme universitaire en travail social ou dans une discipline connexe combiné avec les expériences et connaissances pertinentes au cours. Expérience d’enseignement universitaire, un atout. Expériences d’intervention auprès des communautés autochtones, un atout. Bonne connaissance des réalités diverses des milieux autochtones, ainsi que des politiques et programmes qui leur sont destinés.

Le cours sera offert en virtuel (en co-enseignement) à raison de 6 hres par semaine (du 4 mai au 12 juin)
