Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work

Assisting the professor during lectures

Minimum qualifications

Must be prsent during lectures : We 2:30PM-5:20PM

Minimum C.G.P.A. of 8.0;

Strong communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Must demonstrate substantial knowledge of the Python language

Must demonstrate practical skills in coding and debugging Python scripts

Must demonstrate knowledge on data analysis in Python using Numpy and Pandas

Comments

Candidates on short list may be interviewed by course professor/coordinator.

Please note that the posted hours could be increased due to registration.

Please note, you will be required to have access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam.

Contract hours may be reallocated among different tasks, which the professor may adjust over the course of the semester.

Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course (with the exception of official University holidays), including through the grading of the final exam and calculation of final grades by the professor.
