Correcteur / Corrector : $30.53 ou/or $36.63 (2024-2025)The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work:
Marking assignments tests and the final exam. Providing feedback to students on their evaluations. Proctoring the final exam. Providing support for the coordination of invited speaker sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or M.Sc. candidate in Chemistry with a focus on biomolecular sciences or Ph.D. or M.Sc. candidate in Chemistry with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry or Ph.D. or M.Sc. candidate in Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
Successful completion of BCH 4172, BCH 4188 or an equivalent advanced course in biotechnology/molecular biology is a strong asset.
In-depth knowledge of molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning, expression systems, vector design, and recombinant protein production in heterologous hosts.
All candidates who are not graduate students in Chemistry or Biological Sciences will be required to write a qualification test (unless previously completed).
Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops is mandatory.
Knowledge of French (reading) is important, as students have the option to submit work and write examinations in French
