AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Nature of work: Under the supervision of the principal investigator, the research assistant will contribute to a project focused on Afro-descendants entrepreneurial ecosystem. The selected candidate will play a key role in the collection, analysis, and synthesis of quantitative data, supporting the overall research objectives.

Key tasks: Design, create, and administer an online questionnaire using SurveyMonkey (or an equivalent platform).

Ensure rigorous quantitative data collection from the targeted participants.

Clean, organize, and analyze the collected data using statistical tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R).

Contribute to the interpretation of findings and draft a comprehensive summary report.

Assist in preparing internal presentations or dissemination materials.

Requirements:
Strong research and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of quantitative research methods and statistical analysis tools. Proficiency with digital research tools (SurveyMonkey, Excel, SPSS, or equivalent). Excellent writing and synthesis skills in French (English an asset). Strong organizational skills, methodological rigor, and ability to work independently. Capacity to work effectively in a bilingual (French/English) academic environment. Level : Master or PhD Student.
