Requirements and Nature of Work:

Nature of Work:

- Research Assistant support to Professor creating the case study for the 3318/3718 TelferINTL Live Case Challenge

- Research on the site company and its industry for the 3318/3718 Live Case Challenge

- Alignment of the research to the objectives and scope of the case study and to the course objectives for ADM3318/3718

- with Professor, liaise with company executive sponsors of the case including in meetings

- support linkages between cases and Telfer School’s strategic pillars (Greener, Happier, Healthier, Wealthier); and to sustainability

- extensive library research and other forms of online research

- work closely with professor on assigned tasks including highly professional output with often a quick turnaround

- working with Head Coach - Case Competitions and case study professor, analyse data from previous TelferINTL competitions including recommendations to support process and other improvements

- all work to be provided in English at high standard of professional output in communication whether e-mail, document, spreadsheet

Minimum qualifications:

CGPA of at last 8.5

Minimum grade of A in ADM 3318/3718

Exceptional written and oral communications skills in English

Demonstrated knowledge of themes within ADM 3318/3718

A strong knowledge of and appreciation for current international business issues and approaches to management

A thorough working knowledge of case development and solving business cases

Demonstrated experience in analyzing a case

Demonstrated experience in working with professionals and/or executives

Demonstrated experience in case competitions

Bilingualism considered an asset

Comments:

Preference will be given to combination of higher grade and relevant experience as listed under "Nature of Work" and "Minimum qualifications"

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the ADM3318/3718 Live Case Challenge

Candidates on short list may be interviewed by course professor and may have to complete a test.
