NATURE DU TRAVAIL – NATURE OF WORK

The Centre for Research on Health and Nursing (CRHN) is looking for a graduate student to organize and facilitate a recurring reading and discussion group on the work of different philosophers and/or critical theorists.

The coordinator will be responsible for scheduling group sessions, managing communications, keeping records and statistics, and preparing meeting content and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES – MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preference given to PhD student in Nursing that is incorporating critical perspectives in their thesis;

  • Fluently bilingual in English and French preferred;

  • Successfully completed NSG 6160 – “Policy, political action and change” preferred;

  • Good organizational and time-management skills;

  • Members of the Critical Discussion group with a high attendance record for prior meetings required;

  • Preference given to students with experience in organizing student groups.

NIVEAU DE COMPÉTENCE D’UNE LANGUE SECONDE – LEVEL OF COMPETENCE IN SECOND LANGUAGE

High level of competence in written and spoken English required. French is an asset.
