Nature of Work

Review all material on Brightspace, understand exactly how the course is being delivered, review text book and problems from text book, reinforce all recommendations made by the Professor to help students succeed in the course.

Understand exactly how answers are derived for each question on each midterm. Meet individually with students to review student midterms and to provide individualized support. Safeguard the contents of the midterm.

Explain to each student what mistakes were made on the midterm and explain how the correct answer is derived.

Identify and communicate recommendations for part-marks in accordance with instructions from professor.

Assist the professor on administrative and course related tasks as necessary.

Please note that meetings with students will occur on-campus unless public health restrictions prohibit on-campus meetings.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum C.G.P.A. of 6.0;

Must have recently completed and received a minimum grade of A- in ADM 4344 or its equivalent;

Experience with online course delivery considered an asset

Experience with online videoconferencing environment considered an asset (ex. Microsoft Teams)

Comments

Preference will be given to candidates who have already been markers for ADM 4344 (or equivalent)

among candidates within the same hiring priority;

Candidates on short list may be interviewed by course professor/coordinator.

Please note that the posted hours could be increased by 10% to 30% due to registration.
