Renewable Energy Analyst (Operational Advisory/Consultancy)

The Renewable Energy Analyst (Operational Advisory/Consultancy) will provide expert technical support and consultancy for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, hydrogen, and energy storage systems. The role focuses on operational assessments, technical due diligence, risk analysis, feasibility studies and compliance to optimize project performance and ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical assessments and due diligence for renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen, and energy storage systems to support project development and investment decisions.
Perform energy yield evaluations and techno-economic viability studies to optimize project performance and maximize return on investment.
Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations through audits, inspections, and certification support.
Prepare detailed technical reports, risk analyses, and documentation for project approvals, financing, and regulatory submissions.
Provide in depth technical knowledge in renewable project life cycle services
Provide expert technical advisory to clients, including investors, project developers, and operators, to enhance the safety, quality, and efficiency of renewable energy installations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure project timelines, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
Stay updated on evolving renewable energy technologies, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks to deliver up-to-date consultancy services.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 10+ years of experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen, or energy storage systems.
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, system design, testing, and quality assurance processes.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards (IEC, IS) and regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects.
Ability to conduct technical assessments, analyze data, technical due diligence and prepare detailed reports.
Experience supporting project execution, inspections, and quality control in renewable energy installations.
Effective communication skills for client interaction, reporting, and teamwork.
Relevant certifications in renewable energy or quality management are advantageous.
Willingness to work on-site both locally and internationally.
