Your tasks
The Quality Management Consultant is responsible for supporting the Legal Entity Quality and Safety (such as Laboratory Quality, Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental) Management Systems in the establishment, implementation and maintenance & improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) of TÜV SÜD ASEAN laboratories and offices in his/her capacity and ensure that corporate directives for IMS initiatives are complied with and effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall quality and safety management support to TÜV SÜD ASEAN in relation to TÜV SÜD certification and accreditation certificates status.
Lead and direct quality and safety management initiatives in TÜV SÜD development and management systems consultancy to align with the business requirements.
Develop and compile monthly quality and safety management reporting, manage non-conformity and operational metrics for quality and safety improvement and provide structured feedback on quality performance to management.
Work closely with/and support ASEAN’s Quality & Safety Team for effective quality and safety assurance and control of all quality and safety standards & measures.
Develop and implement quality and safety management procedures as well as conduct structured quality and safety training programmes for ASEAN's regional laboratories and offices.
Responsible for supporting, coordinating and managing continual improvement initiatives including the various certification schemes, documentation matters and process control improvement activities.
Ensure that the IMS and documented procedures and instructions are updated, and revised, to meet the needs of internal audit system and external accreditation and certification bodies’ requirements.
Liaise with other business units, departments and division in relation to quality and safety management systems and activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
Investigate and record customer complaints/customer feedback regarding services performance, specifications and reliability of testing, inspection, and certification outcome.
Assists ASEAN QMR in processing system-related complaints/customer feedback, and in monitoring and driving appropriate corrective and preventive actions to improve the quality and safety in ASEAN.
Keep senior management abreast of significant developments identified during quality and safety control activities.
Any other responsibilities appropriate for this level.
Your qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 5 years' relevant working experience Quality and Safety Assurance management experience.
Possess working knowledge on ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17024, ISO/IEC 17025 & ISO/IEC 17065, ISO Standards, SAC-SINGLAS requirements, etc.
Proven experience and strong knowledge of quality management systems (6 Sigma, SPC, Lean) international quality standards, Occupational Health & Safety standards, and Environmental standards including sourcing best practice as well as the ability to mentor quality and safety individuals.
Meticulous with good organizing, administrative ability, a great motivator with excellent organisational, problem-solving & communication skills.
Result and service-oriented individual, who possesses initiative, effectively communicate (both oral and written) and influence at management level is essential.
Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review management systems, find lapses and pose solutions to those gaps.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially power point, excel and words.
A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines with strong customer orientation.
Ability to influence and motivate others with strong communication skills.
Good time management and coordination ability.
Familiar with Business Continuity Management (BCM), Compliance Management, Personal Data Protection (PDP), or Quality & Safety standards & processes, to follow corporate and local regulations is an advantage.
Enthusiastic, efficient, and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
