Your tasks

Position Summary:

This is an Engineering Intern position, reporting to the Site Operations Manager and supervised by the Senior Test Engineer in the environmental lab. The Engineering Intern may conduct specified testing and report findings with a high degree of accuracy. This position will maintain confidentiality of customers, products tested and internal proprietary information. Communication with internal and external customers is prompt, courteous and effective.

Responsibilities:

Inspect test plans and client's product documentations for testing and evaluation in adherence to international, national, and custom regulations.

Conduct and oversee product testing and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Collect and document test data in accordance with applicable test procedures and requirements. This may be done in the form of a Test Data Sheet, graphical information, or other formats as defined by the applicable project scope.

Prepare accurate Test Reports, Test Incident Reports and/or Technical Reports, to the appropriate standards and/or procedures

Ensure adherence to project timelines by completing tasks within the allocated time frame.

Update Supervisors with ongoing project status, daily

Written and oral communication must be delivered promptly and effectively

Operate and troubleshoot test equipment

Ensure that equipment calibrations are validated in accordance with their applicable schedules, ranges, and remain in calibration for the entire duration of testing.

Report any damage to equipment or test samples to the supervisor immediately.

Complete time sheets, daily

Adhere to all TÜV SÜD policies and procedures

Your qualifications

Education and Experience:

Ability to apply and understand basic electrical & mechanical concepts

Must be observant and have attention to detail

Must be available to work overtime hours, as required

Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Able to stay focused and professional in a fast-paced environment

Currently enrolled in an Electrical / Electronics / mechanical Engineering program
