Position Summary:
TUV SUD Services (UK) Limited provide support services to the TÜV SÜD UK Group. The Finance Team, based in East Kilbride, provides financial services to stakeholders across the UK and Europe
We are looking for a temporary Financial Accountant to cover Maternity Leave.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial and management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to tight Group deadlines
Co-ordinate and participate in monthly and quarterly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations
Maintenance and performance of forward exchange transactions in ATAQ (TUV Treasury Tool)
Maintenance of bank guarantees in ATAQ
Maintenance of bank account balances in ATAQ
Leadership of year-end audit process, acting as the main contact point with our external auditors for the audit of all Group companies in the UK plus supported overseas companies
Understanding and interpretation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local GAAP
Preparation of Statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS for Group companies
Assist in preparation of rolling financial business plans and regular business forecasts
Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns for all UK Companies
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns, including overseas VAT returns for small overseas subsidiaries
Assistance in financial due diligence process for potential future acquisitions
Participation in ongoing reviews and documentation of internal controls environment within the UK service centre
Provision of support to integrate newly acquired companies into TUV SUD Group accounting processes and policies
Preparation of Deferred Tax Schedules for Group reporting
Drive process harmonisation and continuous improvement initiatives
Support Group Internal Controls Requirements and Transfer Pricing policies
Preparation and submission of other statutory returns, e.g. National Statistics returns
Work as an integral member of the Finance and Purchasing function and provide ad hoc administrative support when necessary
Undertaking additional or other duties, as may be required by the business from time to time, as directed by your line manager
