Laboratory Technician (Hardline Lab - Outdoor & Indoor Furniture Testing)

Your tasks
Perform testing and evaluation of hardline products (such as furniture) to ensure compliance with international standards within the specified turnaround time.
Prepare, set-up and operate the testing equipment and machinery involved in the testing process as assigned.
Conduct on-site sampling or testing according to specified requirements and standards.
Conduct maintenance and calibration on instruments to ensure their proper functioning and accuracy.
Interpret test results, prepare test reports as well as complete related administrative tasks as required.
Maintain and manage laboratory records and documentations.
Be responsible for all technical and quality aspects of testing activities in the Lab, as authorized or assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor
Report the daily testing activities to Laboratory Supervisor and Lab Manager
Work in shifts may be required.
Do the other work as assigned by Line Manager to support Lab operations.
Your qualifications
A college or university degree relating to mechanical, electrical, technology or its equivalent.
Experience in furniture testing and knowledge of ISO17025 Quality Management System are advantageous.
English Communication at B level or its equivalent.
A result- and service-oriented individual with initiative and strong communication skills.
A proactive team player, with the ability to work independently on challenging projects and tight deadline
Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
