Compensation & Benefits Manager

Job Summary/Role:

In an international, project driven and truley start up environment you will lead the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a data driven benefits structures to ensure organizational competitiveness aned effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, optimize, and implement compensation and benefits programs to align with organizational goals and market trends.

  2. Conduct comprehensive pay plan analysis, market research, and surveys to ensure competitiveness and equity.

  3. Develop adjustments to salary structures based on data monitoring and market analysis.

  4. Partner with internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, and leadership, to execute compensation and benefits strategies effectively.

  5. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and consultants, to leverage expertise and resources as needed.

  6. Design and implement procedures for the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  7. Develop and execute retention programs and incentives to attract and retain top talent.

  8. Design severance packages and lead exit interviews to ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications and Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

  2. At least 10-years work experience in Compensation related positions.

  2. Familiar with EU/Germany Federal employee regulations and employment and talent market and at a high-growth company working with Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Engineering or similar industry.

  3. Deep understanding of compensation principles, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and pay plan analysis.

  4. Experience with benefits administration, including healthcare, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

  5. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems

  6. Experience in implementation of systems, tools and policies, and project management.

Languages skills:

  1. Excellent German and English skills.

  2. Other languages esp Mandarin a plus.

  1. Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills to guide the organization during its ramp up phase, and collaborate effectively with diverse multi-cultural stakeholders.

  2. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with strong intercultural awareness.

  3. Able to work under pressure with attention to detail and prioritize to navigate complex challenges in a dynamic environment.

  4. Strong organizational and planning skills.

  5. Adaptability to changing environments and project demands.
