The Person in this Role Must:

• Be viewed as a credible, responsive, and trusted partner to industry analysts and influencers, and to internal stakeholders.

• Provide strategic guidance on analyst and influencer engagements to the business.

• Consistently capture analyst insights and feedback to inform strategy and messaging.

• Ensure evaluations are well-managed, on-time, and high quality.

• Run analyst relations program responsibilities with discipline, consistency, and strategic intent.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Analyst Relations (and optionally Influencer Relations) at a software or technology company.

• Open to candidates with or without direct Analyst and Influencer Relations experience, however, must have experience engaging industry analysts and influencers in cybersecurity product management, product marketing, or marketing communications.

• Demonstrable understanding of Analyst Relations and Influencer Relations as part of the broader marketing and go-to-market ecosystem, including its role in messaging, positioning, and credibility-building.

• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior analysts, executives, product management, product marketing and analyst relations colleagues.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and credibly, and to work collaboratively with product management and marketing to review and improve briefing materials.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and long-cycle deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Organizational skills and attention to detail are important.

• Proven track record of consistent high performance, personal accountability, and challenging self and others to deliver results.

• High personal and professional integrity.

• BA/BS in Communications, Technology or Business (preferred).

• Familiarity with/affinity for/aptitude for learning technology markets (information security preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, SaaS, enterprise software, or cloud technologies

• If not previously in an analyst relations role, then a background in public relations, product management, product marketing, or competitive intelligence.

• Experience supporting executive-level analyst engagements.

• Familiarity with analyst relations metrics and impact reporting.

Trend Micro Canada is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is CAD $82,000.00 – $122,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
