Position Summary:
Trend Micro is looking for a Senior Event Manager who will be a core member of the US Marketing team. This individual will play a key role in planning and executing a range of Trend’s internal and industry events across the country. The role acts as a project manager coordinating across internal stakeholders, external vendors, and competing priorities. This position will report to the Vice President of US Marketing, Enterprise.
Qualifications:
An effective candidate will have a broad range of event and marketing experience possessing strong organizational skills, work well independently or as part of a team, and have exceptional communication and leadership skills.
8+ years of experience with all aspects of event management including, but not limited to venue/vendor sourcing, vendor management, budget management, registration, communications, and campaigns/promotion strategy.
IT/Technology or cybersecurity industry event experience.
Highly organized project manager who feels right at home coordinating across internal stakeholders, external vendors, and competing priorities.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple tasks, and complete scheduled tasks on time under competing deadline pressures.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs, events and priorities at the same time while remaining flexible and open to continuous growth and improvement.
Display a professional demeanor and ability to interface with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and customers at all organizational levels.
Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, prepare financial and KPI reports, and manage events budgets.
Additional project-based work as assigned that will allow for exposure to different parts of the company and contribute toward Trend Micro’s mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Available to work across various time zones and/or non-traditional working hours on occasion, as needed.
Able to travel up to 50% during busy season.

Trend Micro, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role is USD $141,000.00– $165,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
