Position Summary:
The Channel Account Manager will travel and have responsibility for working with various internal and external resources to identify partners for focus, expansion and growth. This includes developing and implementing recruiting account-specific plans and sales strategies designed to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and drive channel partner recruitment and sales action plans to increase sales volume in all verticals across the Trend portfolio to all levels of partner management and sales team.
Special emphasis includes MSP/MSSP/Hosters/Cloud Brokers and Hybrid VARS (50%+ of total sales from reoccurring revenue model)
Top 500 Managed Service Providers focused on mid to larger sized end customers
Present training and education on sales, marketing, customer service, products, markets, ordering procedures etc.
Provide business and sales support to channel partners
Manage deal registration and sales pipeline in coordination with internal sales leadership and channel partner sales leadership.
Ongoing coaching of partner sales teams
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience managing strategic channel partner relationships
Experience with managed services channel partners is a plus
Experience in Event Management, presentation, public speaking
Bachelor's Degree; Business Administration preferred
Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
