Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Las Colinas, TX office.

Position Summary:

Trend Micro is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst who will mainly be responsible for supporting the North America Consumer Business Unit (BU) and R&D teams in the US and Canada. The Analyst will report directly to the North America Director of FP&A.

The position requires strong technical and analytical skills in the areas of:

• Budgetary Planning and Forecasting

• Business Analysis and Reporting

Responsibilities:

• Support the Consumer team through revenue and expense reporting

• Monitor revenue trends and investigate unusual patterns

• Present analysis and recommendations to the Consumer management team

• Build financial plans and determine the reasonableness of management’s assumptions

• Assist functional managers to understand their spending and manage their budgets

• Calculate Commissions for the Consumer team on a quarterly basis

• Maintain processes and procedures to support the accurate and timely recording of expenses

• Coordinate with the Accounting group and various functions during the monthly close

• Summarize the quarterly results for Trend's auditors and Corporate Finance

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve and /or automate processes and reporting

• Participate in special projects as required

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• 3+ years of financial analysis experience

• Software industry experience a plus

• Strong understanding of financial operations and forecast processes

• Advanced Excel skills

• Understanding of accounting and ability to create journal entries

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
