POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a 1 year direct contract position with Trend Micro.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) with Singapore will focus on generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. The SDR will work closely with the sales team to qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cyber security industry and be able to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive business and account development for the target countries and segments.

  • Proactively identify contacts within each account related to defined campaigns or growth opportunities.

  • Pursue and nurture accounts until qualified.

  • Set up meetings for account managers with qualified prospects.

  • Plan and execute the account-base marketing plan focused on platform adoption and the overall success of the existing and prospective customers.

  • Generate sales pipeline within the accounts.

  • Measure and report on the success of campaigns & optimize approach based on real-time analytics and data

  • Create and implement pipeline acceleration programs and lead generation towards specific, targeted accounts and contacts.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.

  • A Master Digital Seller with an ability to conduct research digitally to identify market trends and influencing factors affecting prospects within an Industry.

  • Outstanding remote client contact skills that can clearly articulate a 'business justification', 'what's in it for the client', obtain 'incremental gain' in order to qualify potential business opportunities Virtually.

  • Effective combination of both selling skills and technical acumen

  • Highly driven, intelligent, hungry, and coachable. Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn, and prior sales experience is ideal.

  • Solid organizational, time management and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology - Preferred

  • CyberSecurity Certification – If any
